Expansion of the melt shop to 1,100,000 tpy with the addition of two 150 ton arc furnaces, a single-strand 60" width slab caster, a six-strand billet caster and including a second 600,000 tpy Midrex direct reduction unit. The casting facilities were designed for series casting.

Scope of Services
Preliminary studies, full EPCM, engineering, procurement, project and construction management. Commissioning and start-up assistance were also provided.
